Granite Falls's first outpatient surgical center, featuring the innovative NAVIO Surgical System, is now open at the RiverCrest Medical Park.

GRANITE FALLS, NC October 2019 – Prime Surgical Suites announces the opening of its 20,995-square-foot ambulatory orthopedic surgical center, located at 180 Riverbend Drive in RiverCrest Medical Park. This will be the first facility in North Carolina to offer total and partial robotic-assisted knee-surgery. The state-of-the-art facility houses a physician-led practice of experts, who are striving to set the highest bar for safety, innovation, excellence, and care. The eight partner physicians on staff will deliver exceptional service to patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and degenerative conditions. 

This is not your average orthopedic surgical center. Prime Surgical Suites and its team of surgeons are proud to provide a cutting-edge facility staffed with a team and resources that will offer the best in patient care. The partners of the surgical center are passionate about serving the community by restoring active lifestyles and well-being. One of the technologies available at Prime Surgical Suites is the NAVIO Surgical System. This system is a radiation-free robotics-assisted knee surgery platform that helps surgeons with planning prior to surgery. The NAVIO system helps ensure total knee replacement procedures are more accurate with improved results. This technology works without CT scans, which means less exposure to radiation prior to surgery. Prime Surgical Suites is the first surgery center in North Carolina to offer the NAVIO Surgical System and among the first in the world to use this innovative system.

Not only will the facility provide cutting edge technologies to assist in surgeries, but the heart of the center will be centered around the patient experience. Patient comfort is a top priority.
